ABOUT
吳玶萭 WU PIN-YU
Taichung, Taiwan, graduated from the Department of Power Mechanics, Tsinghua University, Institute of Applied Arts, Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, and worked as a mechanical design engineer, now studying Arts and Humanities in Royal College of Art, engaging in mechanical and digital media creation.
Works are based on social phenomena and human behaviors, and through the overlapping of knowledge and application of forms across fields, aroused more concern and discussion about modern society and life, hoping works can be integrated into real life.
Won the Gold Medal in the Mixed Media category of the 112th National Art Exhibition, participated in the 2022 Taipei Digital Art Festival, and was selected for the "Hsinchu City as Museum" Design Co-creating Program.
台灣台中人，畢業於清華大學動力機械系/陽明交通大學應用藝術研究所，曾擔任機構設計工程師，現就讀於英國皇家藝術學院，從事機械、數位媒材創作。
作品以社會現象與人類行為為出發，透過跨領域知識的堆疊與形式的應用，引起更多對於現代社會與生活的關懷與討論，希望其藝術作品能融入真實生活中。
作品曾獲得 112 全國美展綜合媒材類金牌獎、參與 2022 台北數位藝術節、入選「新竹 · 城市博物館」設計共創獎助計畫等。
